I'm sure you're not the only one having this problem. It's important to get it figured out though because many providers of peer reviewed articles provide the articles only in .pdf form, and not in html form. You can get the latest version of Adobe Acrobat for free here: http://get.adobe.com/reader and you can get free computer help here: http://lsu.edu/its/helpdesk.html
Steve- If you just copy and paste the web addresses I provided into a url, then it should link directly to jstor. you have to be either on campus or signed into the remote access in order to get full access. let me know (send me an email at akirzi1@tigers.lsu.edu) if you are still having problems and I will email the articles to you
