Scheufele Framing

Been thinking about Scheufele's article on framing and something has been on my mind. When differentiating his theories on framing from McCombs and Shaw, Scheufele describes salience as accessibility. While this is partially true, this is not all that constitutes salience, it also means prominence. Scheufele then says his way of viewing framing "perceived importance." Prominence and importance seem, to me anyways, as the same thing.
